The clinic has been in its present location since 1991, but Fiona Jacobs has practiced in Bury since 1984. The building was specially converted for its present use, with car parking spaces for the patients at the rear.
All chiropractors working in the clinic are members of the British Chiropractic Association and are registered with the General Chiropractic Council. All members abide by the code of ethics and rules set by the association. They are all fully qualified chiropractors and the letters after their names are explained in their resumés.
The Bury St. Edmunds Chiropractic Clinic is comprised of a team of two female chiropractors, Fiona Jacobs (Clinic Director) and Emilie Bevan. All are fully registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and are members of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA).
The chiropractors are all fully qualified, and their qualifications are detailed on their corresponding web page.
Nicola joined the practice on July 2019. She worked for the University of Cambridge before moving to Bury St Edmunds in 2010 with her husband, a chef. They now run a busy café in St John’s Street. Nicola is a bit of a “mad cat lady”; she likes gardening (Friday nights with Monty Don), reading and large G&Ts.
Karen joined us in January 2012. She has been a patient of ours since 2007 so is able to bring her first-hand knowledge of chiropractic to the front desk. She moved to Suffolk seven years ago after working at Heathrow for twelve years, and is enjoying a much slower pace of life. She has tried to leave the clinic (twice) but she enjoys the friendly atmosphere and the people she meets, so she keeps coming back! She has three children, a husband, and two active dogs, so enjoys escaping to work. Her interests are running, reading, and playing golf – when she finds the time.
Kim joined the Practice in September 2019. She was born and raised in Bury St Edmunds and has worked as a receptionist for many years. She enjoys meeting people and the friendly atmosphere of the Bury St Edmunds Chiropractic Clinic. She has two grown up children, a husband and now she has four grandchildren. She loves to run, to walk, going on holiday and spending time with her family.
