Will I need to have X-rays taken?

Not necessarily. The chiropractor will decide whether x-rays are necessary after having taken your case history and performing an examination. If it is felt that x-rays are required the chiropractor may suggest that you return to your GP and discuss it with them, or if you wish, the chiropractor may send you privately to the West Suffolk Hospital, Hardwick Lane, Bury St Edmunds or the BMI Hospital, St Mary’s Square, Bury St Edmunds. There are no longer any x-ray facilities at this clinic.

Alternatively, if you have had x-rays taken previously, the chiropractor may ask you to sign a release of records form, so that a copy of your x-ray report can be obtained from your GP or previous chiropractor.
